Roll Call
Old Business:
- T-shirts and patches available.
- No members of South Central Illinois COC
reported to make it to the Chicago Breakout.
New Business:
- NCOM and Regional COC Event - Our
counsel,
Michael Mandelman, discussed the importance of our hosting the Regional
NCOM event.
- November 8, 2008 - To be held in Chicago.
- Rooms, Negotiating price for $79-$89 night
- National Board of Directors will attend and
meet there.
- Michael wants 2 people to volunteer to help
with coordinating and advertising the event.
- Event will include representatives from
Illinois,
Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Pennsylvania, W. Virginia, and
other MidWest states.
- Financial Reimbursement for club attendance at
NCOM, Houston
- South Central Illinois COC will give $150 for
traveling expense and pay 2 roomnights for each attending club, after
the event. Bring receipts to COC.
- New Website Administrator - Clubs to contact
new website administrator for any website changes, pictures, ect.
- Bondslaves to have "Veteran's Run" June 28th in
American Legion, Decatur, Il - see events page for more info as it
develops. You can also visit their website.
- Treasurer's Report was made.
- Membership voted and passed motion for COC to
provide a plaque to clubs for members who pass away
- Membership approved decision for COC to provide
phone cards to returning vets. Members to discuss details after meeting.
- Silver Bullet, Urbana, Il - Reported to be not
allowing customers to wear colors in their establishment.
